**Chili Chef Guidance
-Bring about 2 crock pots of chili (~12-16quarts)
-Bring max three toppings per entrant
-Chili name card with ingredient descriptors, ladle, chili tasting cups, table, and power will be provided to entrants at the event
-PCA will provide tables for contestants and power if you need to plug in a crockpot.
This event is not only a fun Chili competition/Block Party, but also serves as our Annual General Meeting for the Parkmead Community Association. The meeting will be held toward the end of the event, probably about 4:15. We will be voting on Parkmead Community Association board members for the coming year and voting on increasing the annual PCA household dues to $20. Dues were last raised in 2016 to the current amount of $15. The increase in funds will allow the PCA to continue to support our community events. We are juggling rising costs while improving our events. For example, we are renting portable restrooms and are working towards providing no-cost food at events.
The proposed slate for the Board of Directors for 2024 is below:
Sadie Waddington
Amy Sherman
Craig Geldard
Silivia Lucchi
Kristin Lanham
